Lots of people use their iPods while working out, but what about their iPhones? Griffin looks to add your iPhone to your gym bag with the new Griffin Streamline iPhone workout case.

The Streamline for iPhone is an extension of the Streamline line of sport armbands for iPods. It has a clear, full face screen protector on the front which offers unencumbered access to your iPhone's screen, and a soft neoprene backing that holds your phone in place. Holes at the top and bottom of the case allow easy access to the headphone and charging ports, and the device is inserted and removed from the top. It also sports a fully adjustable armband, good forrighties and lefties, and a comfortable fit even after extended wear. The all black style fits nicely in line with the iPhone's design, and a small section of reflective trim gives a night time driver just a little more of you to see.

Potential buyers be aware, the neoprene backing holds the iPhone firmly in place. When you first get the armband the neoprene is not stretched, and it takes a little patience to get the iPhone in there. Don't worry, it will stretch to accommodate.

 

The iPhone armband makes it easy to listen to your favorite tunes while out for a morning jog or at the gym. Since at this time Apple has decided not to include voice dialing or stereo Bluetooth compliance, your stuck with using a wired headset to listen to your music or receive calls. The placement of the device on your arm does make it a little cumbersome to try and read and reply to email or SMS, but if your in the middle of a run I doubt that you'll be looking to do that anyway (although I have seen it before).
